Rediscover your life for a purpose...

1. Begin with some time in solitude.

Find a quiet place to dream. When life spirals out of control and I lose sight of what I love about life, I usually find I haven’t taken any time out for solitude. I need to get away to be alone with my thoughts and to pray.

2. Get a journal and make lists of things you used to love.

The simple process of writing things down makes a big difference for me in finding clarity of thought. Seeing the things I love on a list makes everything feel possible and doable. I love to make lists like my 20 Little Things to jumpstart my thinking.

3. Create daily and weekly rituals out of things you love.

Find ways to incorporate in to your life those things you love most. Make embracing them a regular part of living — don’t let any one or any thing stand in the way! When you take the things you love and elevate them to a daily or weekly ritual you’ll find all the more pleasure in them as you look forward to those experiences on a regular basis!

4. Slow down.

Fill your days with activities that slow you down (yes, the opposite of what we tend to do!) and allow you to appreciate and savor moments of beauty.

5. Embrace simplicity.

Life as we know it is continually filled with new and complicated things. Our phones, our computers, our calendars, our TVs, even our washer and dryer seem to require an advanced degree to be able to use them. And those are the things invented to make life better and easier! Just when we master some new electronic gadget, they crash or the new model comes out and we are frustrated again.

Move away from the complicated as often as possible and enjoy things in their simplest, purest forms. Go back to some of the rituals and pleasures your grandmother might have enjoyed, before life moved into the fast lane.

6. Live life on purpose — dare to incorporate the things you love into your life.

You can do this! Being an adult doesn’t just mean we can have dessert before dinner and stay up until 10PM. It means we can live out the things we’ve always wanted to do.

Marriage Matters...

There are actually 3 important aspects in making it work.

* Communication

I always think that every issue and every aspect at home should be talked about by the couple. Whether it’s about the discipline of the kids or the financial aspect of the family or even the simplest thing like what to eat for dinner. Nothing could be fixed if the couple will just keep quiet and keep there thoughts inside.

* Commitment and Common Values

Being committed to making your marriage work is one of the keys too. If you have the commitment then you will care. You would want to patch things up when something is wrong while common values let you share the same priorities with your partner. You will have to teach similar teachings to your children so there will be less arguments.

* Spirituality/Faith

I always believe that if you out God in the center of any relationship then you will be blessed. Being married means you should also be praying with him.

Do you believe that friendship will last long? Nor do you believe that true friends are better than best friends? Well, I guess, what ever your perception about this subject one important thing to remember is no man is an island.. We could not survive without the help of those people who surrounds us specially those people whom we think we can depend upon. Friends is among of those people whom we can rely on. Friends are special people. We can’t pick our family, and we’re sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life.

Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more humans. This article focuses on the notion specific to interpersonal relationships. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection…. Due to that, I guess it depends on a person whom he/she wanted to create a friendship. But to choose among those people whom you wanted to be your friends is not mandatory for each of us. Friends will just came along in any time and place. Its up to you to choose for them or not. Quotations will somehow help you understand on what's your purpose in life even if its just a single phrase nor a single word but its full of meanings. Meanings that simply defines life in general. What is the difference between adverse and averse?

What is the difference between adverse and averse?

To be averse to something is to have feelings against it, to be disinclined or opposed towards it. Averse can take the preposition to as well as from and usually describes an attitude. To be adverse to something (the only preposition it takes) is to be turned in an opposite direction to that thing or acting against it. Adverse also means ‘opposing or detrimental to one’s interests’ and usually refers to things, not people. A good way to remember the difference is that the prefix of averse is ab, or away and the prefix of adverse is ad, meaning towards. Examples of each are: I am averse to watching a lot of television. / We are dealing with adverse circumstances.

Thoughts of my Heart...

Having been through ups and downs…Near and far…Good times and bad times…Break ups and commitments still we are one. Its been 2 and a half years already have passed when I met her in my alma mater. She seem to be so innocent then. But as we grow together though its been a quite long time already that we been so far away from each other ’cause I really have to find my destiny still she’s there to support me along my way. Even if we been to several break ups already still we haven’t separate our ways ’cause there’s one thing that merely binds us. Its what they often called “LOVE”. I don’t know yet right now to were our relationship would be but one thing I know is that as we grow far from each other and just being connected through emails I found out that we both still hold in our dreams that somehow we are meant to be. I guess, what we have experiencing is just part of life realities that basically focusing the sacred and essential feelings of human beings.

As a conclusion, people can make his/her own choice if they stand out on their own eet and be the best as they can. If they choose to stay then so be it. But if they choose to leave then come what may. It was just a matter of choice. What you believe is good then do it but if it goes wrong learn from it. It is where we use to become a wholesome person.

An Entrapment....

I love poems though I merely do some. Simply because I do believe that there are word that could not be explain through actions. This are those words that simply relies through the action of man on how he/she feels towards a particular things. Poems is one of the best way to express your obsess thoughts to someone nor to something. Due to that, I never make a new poem since, I’m merely busy on somethings reason why I look some great poems here in the to feature it here in my site.
